For the second edition of SIX TO NINE, Yibing will perform a set of midtempo house, ambient textures, and jungle rhythms in the courtyard. Our exhibition On Education will also be on view in our galleries.
SIX TO NINE is a summer program series where Amant extends hours until 9pm to host live DJ sets, open exhibitions, and drinks. All ages and music lovers are welcome.
Yibing is a Brooklyn-based DJ originally from Mexico City whose sets move across genres—from downtempo and house to rave, post-punk, dub, ambient, and shoegaze. Her approach to DJing is shaped by her background in radio, beginning with her work alongside DJ and producer Tim Sweeney on the iconic Beats in Space broadcast, formerly on WNYU-FM and now on Apple Music. She currently hosts a monthly show, Tranquilamente, on The Lot Radio and has appeared on international platforms like HOER in Berlin. A member of the collective and party series The Level Party, Yibing has performed in cities including New York, Miami, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Mexico City.
