Saturday, October 19, 4–6pm
315 Maujer

Dietmar Busse’s exhibition Fairytales 1991–1999 at Amant presents the artist’s photographic oeuvre produced with Polaroid cameras during the 1990s. Shot on the street, in domestic settings, at parties, or fashion shows and on commission for fashion brands, some of the works have appeared previously in the New York Times Magazine, Harper’s Bazaar, Interview, London Independent, IT-magazine, Visionaire, and Paper, among many others. On the occasion of his exhibition at Amant and as part of the Open House Festival, Dietmar Busse will lead visitors through his exhibition and narrate the tales that surround his pictures. In conjunction with the event, Busse will sign copies of his monograph, Songs for Birds and the Lonely, edited by Palermo Publishing, available this fall in Amant’s café and bookstore.
