Amant hosts the 2023 Brooklyn Art Book Fair (BKABF).
The seventh edition of the Brooklyn Art Book Fair takes place between Friday June 2 and Sunday June 4. This volunteer-run and passion-driven event brings together independent publishers from all over the US, with a wealth of readings, workshops, and public events.
Public Program information can be found here.
The BKABF is free and open to all. Access to the BKABF exhibition and public program area is step-free and wheelchair accessible.
Brooklyn Art Book Fair is committed to creating an accessible and safe environment for all visitors, exhibitors, and staff. Each day of the fair will be fully-masked indoors, with timed entry and wheelchair-accessible facilities.
Timed entry is to ensure that we maintain capacity, crowd control and also so that our attendees will not have to wait in long lines! The FREE tokens are for 30-minute time slots and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here’s how it works: You will receive a sticker with your designated time slot upon arriving. While you wait for your slot number, you are welcome to enjoy Amant’s exhibitions, bookstore, and cafe, and food trucks. On Sunday, you can also attend free outdoor programming and explore our block party! When your time slot is called, you will wait in a short line to enter the fair.
We recommend arriving EARLY to ensure entry, as time slots may be all claimed by evening.
You will not be able to pre-register for time slots, with the exception of special cases. We will only offer free pre-registration tickets for Saturday, 6/3 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for our immunocompromised, disabled, elderly, and high-risk community members. We are holding these Accessible Hours so that they can enjoy the fair with limited crowds and reduced entry lines.
To pre-register, simply fill out the form below! If you have additional accessibility questions, please reach out to brooklynartbookfair@gmail.com.
