Domenick Ammirati is writer based in New York. His criticism has appeared in numerous publications including Artforum, Spike, Frieze, Art in America, Dis, Mousse, Pioneer Works’ Broadcast, and the Los Angeles Review of Books, as well as in exhibition catalogues for Jamian Juliano-Villani, Josh Kline, and Frances Stark. He has been awarded fellowships in fiction by the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and Denniston Hill and is the author of the bimonthly newsletter Spigot, on contemporary art, books, film, music, and wine.
